HOME WATCH SERVICES

At GulfBay Home Watch we provide the finest Home Watch Service inspections available on the Florida gulf coast. Inspections can be scheduled weekly, (recommended) bi-weekly, and monthly that include photo documentation during the inspection and electronic system reports at the conclusion of each visit.

Our success is built on excellent communication with our clients, and keeping you immediately informed of any inspection issues or impending tropical storms that involve your Florida property. As the client, the sooner you are made aware of an issue, the quicker it can be remediated and the damage and costs minimized.

Exterior Inspections

• A complete walk around of your Florida property

• Checking for mail and package deliveries, removal of flyers, etc.

• Security Inspection; ensure all doors, windows, gates are secure.

• Checking for damage caused by storms or vandalism

• Verify that contracted services (landscaping, pool, pest control etc.) have been completed with electronic reports submitted

• Visual check for water leakage from pool equipment or water spickets

• Check for lawn irrigation leaks, damaged lawn sprinkler heads, (non-watered landscape or flooded areas around sprinkler heads)

• Look for damage or tears on screened in pool enclosure and outdoor furniture

• Check for signs of pest, rodent or other small animal waste

• Provide photo documentation of all findings
  

Interior Inspections

• Verify that all windows, door walls and attic hatches are locked and secure

• Alarm System checks, include Burglar, Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarms include battery replacement

• Verify that A/C temps and humidity are operating correctly, replace furnace filters as needed

• Visual check for water intrusion, mold, and insect invasion

• Utility inspections/flowing & flushing water, verifying electrical circuits breakers are ‘on’ and not tripped & light fixtures, lamps are working

• Verify appliances are functioning properly, opening refrigerators and freezers, checking for odors and leaks.

• Inspections also include checking under sinks, garbage disposals, around toilets, behind washer and dryers, around water heaters and water softeners for leaks

HURRICANE/STORM PREPAREDNESS SERVICES

Quickly changing Florida weather can be extremely challenging—and scary— when you’re away from your home. GulfBay Home Watch will secure your property before hurricanes or tropical storms hit. We will close all hurricane shutters and store outdoor furnishings in predetermined areas the minute a Storm Watch is issued.
