GulfBay Home Watch is a local, family-owned, Home Watch company built on the principal of providing reliable, trusted, Home Watch services for our clients. Licensed, Insured and Bonded, we strive to offer whatever an absentee homeowner may need.
After moving to Florida in 2015, it became clear to Mike Kish and his wife Kelly that there was a huge need for a reliable and affordable home watch service, as so many homeowners spend a good portion of their time away from their Florida homes.
Starting a home watch business was a perfect fit for Mike given his extensive experience in the maintenance industry. Mike began his career in Michigan in 1982 when he provided contract maintenance work for the Catholic Archdiocese of Detroit. Two years later, he started his own maintenance company in Southeastern Michigan, where he worked in the homes of congressmen, professional athletes and busy professionals in all fields. Mike has always been in the business of helping people. In addition to his maintenance work, Mike was a professional Firefighter for over 27 years.
Throughout his career, Mike has served in a variety of roles, including being a NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Certified Inspector, a member of the Oakland County Homeland Security Team and the Wayne Country Hazardous Incident Response Team. Through the trades, he is also certified in fire investigation, alarm systems and sprinkler systems.
Mike and his wife, Kelly, truly enjoy being part of this beautiful and vibrant community and look forward to meeting you and helping you maintain your beautiful Florida home.
ABOUT GULFBAY HOME WATCH
At GulfBay Home Watch we provide the finest Home Watch Service inspections available on the Florida gulf coast. Inspections can be scheduled weekly, (recommended) bi-weekly, and monthly that include photo documentation during the inspection and electronic system reports at the conclusion of each visit.
Our success is built on excellent communication with our clients, and keeping you immediately informed of any inspection issues or impending tropical storms that involve your Florida property is of our greatest importance. As the client, the sooner you are made aware of an issue the quicker it can be remediated and the damage and costs minimized.
